I’ve been eating 1300 calories for a while now and its allowed me not binge for the longest time ever. However I got a bit sick last week and decided one day that I was too tired to eat dinner. I immediately dropped two pounds, so ever since I’ve been eating 800 calories a day. I kind of regret it because I’m getting so hungry the longer that I’m doing this. But I’m afraid that I’m going to gain all the weight I lost. Pls someone help lol I’m going to see if I can do this at least until I’m under 140 lbs.

Low Calorie Soup

This is a veggie soup that is 101 calories per serve. there are two serves in the soup and in total it is 202 calories. very filling and tasty.

PSA: I am Australian so you will need to adjust the recipe to your measurements! xx

Ingredients

  • small potato (110g = 114cal)
  • carrot (100g = 40cal)
  • mushroom (70g = 15cal)
  • onion (30g = 12cal)
  • chicken stock ( 1 cup = 21cal)
  • salt and pepper (optional)
  • ¾ cup of water (0cal)

any of these can be swapped for other veggies, just make sure you recalculate the calories. the chicken stock can be swapped to veggie stock for a vegan/vegetarian soup.

Instructions

  1. cut up veggies in the size that you like and put them in the pot.
  2. add the stock and place pot over a medium heat.
  3. add a pinch of salt and pepper to give a little flavour.
  4. put a lid on it and bring to the boil. once brought to a boil, bring if down to a low heat and let simmer until veggies are soft (around 45 minutes). make sure to stir occasionally.
  5. once veggies are soft take the pot off the heat and serve as you like.

I decided to split the serving sizes in two which makes it 101 calories per serve. you can add yoghurt or any spices you like.

I really like this soup I found it very filling and kept me full for hours. please let me know any alterations you make that make it taste better or if you leave it as is and really like it!

I have been on tumblr before in an attempt to lose weight. I managed to lose 16 kilos in 5 months however after senior exams and a breakup I gained 10 of those kilos back.

I am back to try to motivate myself to lose weight again and get below last years lowest weight.
